In the 1st of June the language summer camp started  its work. It consisted of two groups. Our group was called "The Dragon's Camp". The purpose of the band was the interest of pupils in learning English, the practical using of language, improving conversation, combining education with recreation in summer. There were 10 children from 6 to 10 form in our troop. The teacher of English  Mykolenko R.V. and teacher of German Petrova A.L. provided service of the group.

On the first day of the camp an acquaintance of participants who wished to relax and improve English was. Teachers announced the  plan of th egroup from 01.06 to 06.16. The aim has been taken to explore new lexical items, vocabulary, improving skills and abilities of speech, which will take place in the form of games, learning songs, solving crossword, puzzles, quizzes, watching videos, creative tasks. 

Children held the game "About Me".They were telling about  themselves, family, friends, their hobbies, answering  the questions. One pupil enjoys playing the violin, and she showed it to other members of the group .All the members of the group liked her play. 

The students named  the group "The Dragon's Camp", invented the emblem, team-chant "The fire in my heart always burns", remade the famous song for  our camp’s song,  produced lights- characters describing their characters.Teachers told about  symbols and flags of English-speaking countries are coming speech. Children made garlands of flags and emblems English-speaking countries ( England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, The USA, Australia, Canada and New Zealand) and decorated the class by them . Pupils divided the class into 5 parts, corresponding to five English-speaking countries .Every day, "travelling" across these countries ,they filled these 5 parts  by the usfull and interesting information and  differend  handiworks according to the  the traditions and culture of English-speaking  countries. 

 Children had a good time!
